Principal's Corner

Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

I am excited to welcome our students, families, and community to another wonderful school year at Wenzel Elementary School!!  For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Vincent LaPorte and this will be my eigth year serving as principal of Wenzel Elementary School.  I am blessed with a beautiful family that includes my beautiful wife Jen and my two amazing children Daniel and Shea.  It has been an honor to serve the Sturgis community the past seven years and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve the families of Wenzel Elementary School this upcoming school year!!

Our school is a place where every child is valued, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow. We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where students can build confidence, develop a love of learning, and reach their full potential.

I believe that strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. Your support, involvement, and communication make a tremendous difference in the lives of our students. I encourage families to stay connected, ask questions, and be active participants in their child's education.
